OPPO F35 and F35 Pro Launched in India: Price, Specs and Sale Date

On this page
The OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G launched in India today, October 5, 2026. The F35 starts at Rs 38,999 and the F35 Pro at Rs 45,999, both pack an 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, and open sales begin on October 11 through Flipkart, Amazon, the OPPO e-store and offline shops.
I’ll be honest, my first reaction to the price was a raised eyebrow. The F series used to be the “selfie phone under 25K” line. Ten years after the first F phone landed in India, the entry ticket is almost Rs 39,000. So the real question with the OPPO F35 series is simple: do you get enough phone for that money? I went through the launch details from a few outlets to work that out.
OPPO F35 and F35 Pro price in India
Here is the full price list as reported at launch by Smartprix and The Tech Outlook, which match each other variant for variant.
| Model | Variant | Price |
|---|---|---|
| OPPO F35 5G | 6GB + 128GB | Rs 38,999 |
| OPPO F35 5G | 8GB + 128GB | Rs 42,999 |
| OPPO F35 Pro 5G | 6GB + 128GB | Rs 45,999 |
| OPPO F35 Pro 5G | 8GB + 128GB | Rs 49,999 |
| OPPO F35 Pro 5G | 8GB + 256GB | Rs 54,999 |
Pre-orders are already open on OPPO’s India site, Amazon and Flipkart. The first open sale is October 11. Launch offers run until October 21 and include up to 10 percent instant cashback or no-cost EMI, a free one-year extended warranty, and the Enco Buds3 Pro+ at half price (Rs 1,499 instead of Rs 2,999) when bought with the phone.
One thing to flag: a leak last week had the F35 starting at Rs 37,999. The actual figure came in a thousand rupees higher. Not a big gap, but worth knowing if you had budgeted off the rumor.
The headline feature: a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera
Both phones get the same front camera, and it is the main reason this series exists. It is a 50MP sensor with a 100-degree field of view and autofocus, plus a 0.6x ultra-wide mode. Most front cameras sit around 80 degrees, so in practice this means you can fit four or five people into a selfie without anyone doing the awkward long-arm stretch.
If you take a lot of group photos at weddings, college trips or family dinners, that’s a real upgrade and not a spec-sheet one. If you mostly take solo selfies, you will notice it far less. Autofocus on the front is the bit I’d personally value more, because fixed-focus selfie cameras go soft the moment you hold the phone at anything other than arm’s length.
The Pro records front video at higher quality, while the regular F35 is capped at 2.5K for front video.
Battery: 8,000mAh is the other big number
An 8,000mAh battery in a phone that is 8.4mm thin (the Pro) is still a bit wild to me. Two years ago that capacity meant a brick. Both F35 models get it, along with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO also claims the cell keeps over 80 percent of its capacity after 1,800 charge cycles, which works out to roughly five years of daily charging.
For most people this is a two-day phone. Heavy users who game and shoot video all day should still finish with plenty left. Honestly, for a lot of buyers in this segment the battery will matter more than the camera.
OPPO F35 vs F35 Pro: full specs compared
| Spec | OPPO F35 5G | OPPO F35 Pro 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz, 1,400 nits | 6.78-inch AMOLED, up to 1,800 nits |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max | MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max (4nm) |
| RAM and storage | 6GB or 8GB, 128GB | 6GB or 8GB, 128GB or 256GB (UFS 3.1) |
| Front camera | 50MP ultra-wide, 100 degrees, autofocus | 50MP ultra-wide, 100 degrees, autofocus |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main + 2MP secondary | 50MP main with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide |
| Battery | 8,000mAh, 80W SUPERVOOC | 8,000mAh, 80W SUPERVOOC |
| Durability | IP69K | IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K |
| Build | 8.8mm, about 205g | 8.4mm, about 210g |
| Audio and extras | Single speaker | Dual speakers, IR blaster |
| Colours | Wave Blue, Titanium Grey, Mist Pink | Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue, Twilight Brown |
A small caveat on that table. Launch-day reports don’t fully agree on a couple of Pro display details: one lists a 1.5K panel at 120Hz, another lists FHD+ at 144Hz. I’ve left the contested bits out of the table. Check OPPO’s own spec page before you buy if panel resolution is a deal-breaker for you.
Where the regular F35 cuts corners
The Rs 7,000 gap between the two base models buys you more than a bigger screen. The regular F35 has no optical stabilisation on the main camera, no ultra-wide on the back (the second lens is a 2MP sensor that won’t do much), a single speaker and a weaker Dimensity 6360 Max chip.
That chip is my main gripe. A 6-series Dimensity at nearly Rs 39,000 is hard to defend on performance alone. It will handle WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and casual games without fuss, but you can get noticeably faster processors for less. We saw that just last week when the OPPO K14 Plus 5G launched in India, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro series makes the same point from Xiaomi’s side.
The 6GB RAM base variants are the other thing I’d skip. In late 2026, 6GB on a phone you plan to keep for three or four years is cutting it close. If you’re buying, the 8GB versions are the ones to look at.
Durability and software
The Pro carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, which covers dust, submersion and high-pressure hot water jets. OPPO also mentions a “Rainstorm Touch” mode so the screen keeps responding when it’s wet. If you ride a two-wheeler through monsoon season, that is more useful than it sounds.
On software, the Pro ships with ColorOS 16.5, with a reported promise of three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. That is fine, not great. Samsung and Google offer longer support at similar prices, so factor that in if you keep phones for a long time.
Should you buy the OPPO F35 or F35 Pro?
My take, as someone who mostly cares about value:
- Buy the F35 Pro (8GB + 128GB, Rs 49,999) if group selfies, battery life and a tough body are your top three. The OIS main camera, real ultra-wide and dual speakers make it the more complete phone.
- Think twice about the regular F35. You’re paying close to Rs 39,000 mainly for the selfie camera and battery. If neither is a priority, your money goes further elsewhere.
- Wait a week if you can. The vivo V80 launches in India on October 6 with a 7,200mAh battery and Zeiss cameras. It’s the most direct rival, and its price will tell you whether OPPO has pitched this right.
And use the launch offers. The 10 percent cashback brings the Pro’s 8GB model to around Rs 45,000, which is a much easier number to say yes to.
